The genesis of the K.V.

FEATURE  AND THE GENESIS OF THE K.V 

 Kendriya Vidyalaya no.-3, Patiala Cantt. , founded in Dec. 1987, initially functioned in a small building at New Lal Bagh. It was shifted at the Mandir Marg in Army Barracks in August, 1993 and Shifted to ThePermanent K.V.S. Building In August 2003 At Tarapore Enclave.

Important milestones of growth

                            At present it is being run at Tarapore Enclave (new building) as it shifted in August 2003. The Vidyalaya is 8 k.m. away from the bus stand. Three wheelers are frequently available to reach the school.

                            This vidyalaya caters to the needs of about 850 students under the care of a dedicated team of 45 teachers and supporting administrative staff.

For the all round development of the personality of the students, the Vidyalaya buzzes with various activities throughout the session.

1. Science & Social Science Exhibitions: - These are organized at cluster, regional and KVS national Level
2. Games  & Sports: - Organization –Regional, KVS National and S.G.F.I. levels.
3. Scout and Guide:  the students get an opportunity for Rajya Purskar and President’s Award.
4.  Adventure Activities: - The children get chances for trekking, mountaineering and water –sports.
5. In secondary section the children join hobby classes during Art , SUPW and sports period.
6. in the Primary Section:- Literary , cultural and sports / games activities are conducted house –wise / class-wise.

Our Vidyalaya is situated on the Sangrur-Patiala road.

It is next to the Aviation Club, Patiala.

At present it is being run at Tarapore Enclave (new building) as it shifted in August 2003. The Vidyalaya is 8 k.m. away from the bus stand. It situated in the Cantt area.
