Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2 Patiala

The genesis of the K.V.

 K.V. No. 2 founded on the 21st day of November1986 under Project Kendriya Vidyalaya scheme. Shri K. B. Kapoor , then CAO extended all help in opening thisVidyalaya.He was the first chairman of the Vidyalaya. The Vidyalaya began with 256 students, 12 teachers headed byPrincipal P. N. Singh. There were classes from I to VIII.

At present the Vidyalaya has classes I to XII withScience-Medical, Non-Medical and combined, commerce and human stream.

 Important Milestones of Growth

    Excellent Result inAcademics, Sports and Games and other activities.

- In the session 2015-16 our school result is 100% which is the best result of the school.

- During previous session two  teachers(Mrs. Saroj Verma TGT-Hindi, Mr. A.K Chawla TGT Math) of this vidyalya  got KVS Regional Incentive AwardsNational Award.

- In youth Parliment our school has got second position .

                      

Gradual year wise expansion in classes and sectionsleading to present status

Our is located in the lap of Nature with a vast areaof 15 acres of land. The infrastructure of the Vidyalayais good enough. We have beautiful lawns and playgrounds which enrich the getupof the Vidyalaya. The Labs of our Vidyalayaare fully equipped with the latest instruments and computers.
