Kendriya Vidyalaya No.3 Amritsar is located in the New Cantt area near Khasa. It was established in the year 1985 and now houses in a spacious building amidst lush green surroundings spread over an area of 10 acres. It has the capacity to accommodate 2 sections in each class from 1st to 10th and has got all the three streams i.e.Humanities, Commerce and Science at +2 levels. Two fully functional computer labs with an adequate number of computers and a trained computer PGT and instructor help in keeping pace with new trends in Information Technology. Computer Science has been introduced as an elective subject at the senior secondary level from the session 1999-2000. Spacious and well-ventilated classrooms, well equipped Science and Geography Laboratories, and a Junior Science Laboratory help to develop a scientific attitude among the students.
